Rebuild my Church

FROM MY HEART

OUR FOUNDER

Fr. Pablo Menor, S.J.

Father Pablo Menor, S.J., an apostle of the Sacred Heart of Jesus for the new Christian millennium, was the instrument Providence used to establish Pro Ecclesia Sancta. Throughout his long life, he undertook a series of apostolic initiatives which culminated in what today is Pro Ecclesia Sancta.

Pro Ecclesia Sancta is canonically an Ecclesial Family of Diocesan Right. “Ecclesial Family” connotes a relatively new type of institute of consecrated life whose fundamental characteristic is to be composed of various branches--in our case, branches of religious priests and brothers, of religious sisters, and of lay members--all united under a single general superior.

“A saint and a conqueror of saints,

through prayer, through example, through action.

A saint, while he is in the making, cannot be concerned with himself alone.

His holiness will be simultaneously the seed of another saints,

a grain made fruitful by the One who brought about his first growth.”

OUR MISSION

Holiness

We exist to live and promote the vocation to holiness by means of the spirituality of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and to thus contribute to the renewal, strengthening, and expansion--by attraction--of the Catholic Church, for Christ to reign, for His Heart to reign ad maximam Trinitatis gloriam.

“A faithful son of Your Church

until death.”

OUR SPIRITUALITY

The Sacred Heart of Jesus

Our Spirituality is that of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. This spirituality is lived out through three inseparable dimensions: to love, to repair, and to win souls for Christ so that He may reign and so that man may truly live.

Holiness, great holiness, growing and uninterrupted holiness. This is the ideal, guide, and goal of our spirituality.

From the Church, in the Church, with the Church, by the Church, and for the Church. Equally essential, for otherwise we would not be Pro Ecclesia Sancta.

From Mary, in Mary, with Mary, by Mary, and for Mary. The Blessed Virgin is the co-proprietor of our Institute, and she accompanies us with the love of a Mother and as the Custodian of all that we are and will be. Without her Pro Ecclesia Sancta would not exist. She is ever our Mother, Teacher, and Queen.

From the Heart of Jesus, in the Heart of Jesus, with the Heart of Jesus, by and for the Heart of Jesus. From the beginning, the Sacred Heart has been everything for us: Author, Father, Teacher, Model, Master, supreme Lord, aside from the general titles He has as God, Redeemer, Judge, etc. Our history makes it plain: Pro Ecclesia Sancta is from the Heart of Jesus!

For the glory of the Father, through the knowledge, love and imitation of the Son, in the Holy Spirit, with the intercession of Mary.

TO WHOM

do we direct our efforts?

To all persons of good will. In a special way, however, we seek to serve youth and families, two groups which are presently the most vulnerable and yet at the same time have the most bearing upon the future for the Church and for the world.

“For Christ to reign,

for His Heart to reign,

ad maximam Trinitatis gloriam”
