The Catholic Advance Movement labors for the Christian formation of youth and families in order to provide Christ, the Church and the world with men and women who are humble, daring, and ready to contribute their grain of sand to building the Civilization of Love for which we all long. To that end, we have developed a wide array of programs aimed at conversion, education, and perseverance in the Faith.
This apostolate is primarily directed towards college men and women who, experiencing the joy and enthusiasm that living the Faith produces, commit themselves to work for the exertion of Christ’s kingdom.

Our Parishes
At the parishes with whose care the priests of Pro Ecclesia Sancta have been entrusted, we seek to provide for the Christian formation and spiritual nourishment of those within its boundaries, in order to provide Christ, the Church, and the world with ardent apostles of the Sacred Heart.
THE SHRINE OF THE
Sacred Heart of Jesus
Lima, Peru
The first church of our own construction in Lima, the Archdiocesan Shrine of the Sacred Heart of Jesus was built in 2008 thanks to the generosity of countless individuals who wanted to be a part of this beautiful work of Providence. The Shrine has since become a great spiritual hospital which welcomes each Sunday around four thousand persons who seek an encounter with Jesus through the Eucharistic sacrifice.

THE PARISH OF
Saint Paul and of Our Lady of Mount Carmel
Lima, Peru
Located in the heart of Breña, this gem of a parish is located in one of the oldest districts of Lima. It has been the site of a long period of mutual enrichment between the parish and Pro Ecclesia Sancta, and was the first parish entrusted to us by the Church in the year 2003. We are most grateful to God for the opportunity to serve Him in this vibrant community.

THE CHURCH OF
Saint Mark
Minnesota, US
Since 2009, we have had the honor of witnessing God use the Church of Saint Mark as a marvelous channel of His grace. Through the robust and reverent sacramental ministry, the proclamation of the Word, a faith-filled Catholic school, and diverse parish apostolates, we have the daily joy of being instruments of Christ’s saving work to the young and the old, to college students and families, to neighbors and visitors, to both Catholic and not yet Catholic. Pro Ecclesia Sancta has been entrusted with the care of this storied parish and, with God’s grace, it is our joy to keep it a beacon of light for future generations.

Saint Miguel Febres-Cordero
Samborondon, Ecuador
Situated ten minutes from downtown Guayaquil in the canton of Samborondon is this brand new parish of St. Miguel. Since 2013, Pro Ecclesia Sancta has been working hard to grow and organize a new Christian community within its boundaries. While we labor for the spiritual growth of the faithful here, we look forward with expectation to the completion of our new parish church which will welcome the thousand odd Catholics in the area.

Chaplaincies
The evangelization of young people in our universities and high schools is a formidable challenge for the Church today. It is a labor of love that requires being among them, listening to them, inspiring them, and challenging them, all in accord with the enthusiasm and vulnerability of their youthful spirit. Through chaplaincies, the Church makes Christ present and appealing to our youth.
The University of St. Ignatius of Loyola
Lima, Peru
At USIL, we conduct retreats, provide confirmation prep, and organize missions to those in need, from the urban districts of Lima to the Andes of rural Peru. Students are provided the sacramental presence of Jesus Christ day and night through our on-campus chapel, where they can attend daily Mass, go to confession, and find spiritual counsel.
