Reaching out to those
WHO SUFFER MOST
Our first rural mission center, situated in the mountains of the Ancash province of Peru. It is the epicenter for efforts to proclaim the Gospel and cultivate development in this beautiful yet highly impoverished region.
The Frieda Heller Cancer Home, owned by our strategic partner the Peruvian Cancer Foundation, welcomes children and their families with great Christian charity and offers them hospitality and both spiritual and material support as they wrestle with serious illness.
“Whatever you did to one of these
little ones, you did it to me.”
Members of the Catholic Advance Movement provide spiritual assistance to the inmates at the Virgin of Fatima penitentiary in Lima, Peru.
APOSTOLATE OF GRIEVING
Everlasting Life is a support group which serves families whose loved ones are interred in the columbarium at the Shrine of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Lima. Participants find in it emotional support and the consolation of the Faith to face the loss, loneliness, and sorrow that often accompany times of terminal illness or mourning.
With our Elders
“A nation that does not care for its elders, a people that does not respect its elders, has no future, because it has no memory, has lost its memory. Let us pray for our grandfathers, our grandmothers, who so often have had a heroic role in the transmission of the faith in times of persecution.” (Pope Francis)
Seeking to reach our brothers and sisters who
are most in need.
